Minimum Qualifications
Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications
This is a limited term position. Continuation of employment is probable but not guaranteed.
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical field, preferably with two or more years of experience coding in R or another statistical language.
Experience with relational databases and developing SQL queries to extract data.
Demonstrated interest in life science/veterinary research. Strong motivation for and experience in project management.
Excellent organizational and communications skills with a strong attention to detail.
Two or more years of experience in biomedical sciences/veterinary medicine.
Position Summary
The Data Manager will be an analytical individual with a background in biomedical sciences/veterinary medicine, eager to take on new challenges as we build a collaborative network of researchers and a sample biobank and initiatives for the Canine Bladder Cancer Consortium. A key aspect of this role is the ability to collaborate across departments and institutions, serving as a crucial link among scientists, clinicians, veterinarians, technicians, and dog owners. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter, comfortable communicating with people of various backgrounds via video calls and various digital platforms. This position offers flexibility, with remote and part-time applications considered.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Two or more years of experience coding in R or another statistical language.

Physical Demands
Seated for prolonged periods of time, as well as standing, walking, lifting, carrying packages, and reaching up on shelves to retrieve items.
