Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the Data Import Coordinator position in the Office of Admissions and Merit Awards. Under limited supervision, the Data Import Coordinator manages the electronic import of admissions applications, updates student files, downloads electronic data transmissions, audits files, assists with the imaging of paper applications, and assists with training new Admissions Processing staff in these types of duties.

Operations Assistant II (AH74/61121707), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Band: 04. Salary range: $32,686.00 (minimum) - $46,578.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.



Duties
Duties include, but are not limited to:

Conducts daily imports of admitted student applications and associated institution and parent relations data into the appropriate student information system.

Performs daily downloads of electronically delivered test scores from the test center website portals and electronically imports them to the appropriate student information system.

Audits the daily post-import error reports and resolves potential data errors and duplicate record resolutions per established office policies.

Aids with the daily processing and completion of submitted application files and routes them to the next checkpoint within the admissions application workflow.

Receives and routes application fee refund requests and produces monthly application fee and test score reconciliation reports.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications: A high school diploma and work experience in collecting, scheduling, processing and reporting information in a data processing environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be proficient in various software packages. Slate CRM, Ellucian Colleague (Datatel), Perceptive Content document management, Microsoft Office package. Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and counselors. Must possess written communication, word processing and organizational skills. Ability to operate a student information system. Ability to read and interpret admissions documents and to perform detailed work. Ability to manage a $500,000 application fees deposit process. Must handle confidential matters.
