The Office of Public Relations and Marketing Communications is seeking a motivated and dedicated Project Coordinator to join our vibrant team within the higher education sector.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

The Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting and managing various projects across our institution, ensuring successful execution and alignment with strategic goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to educational initiatives that positively impact our students, faculty, and community.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously from initiation to completion.
Collaborate with administrator and staff to define project scopes, goals, and deliverables.
Develop project management best practices and processes.
Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Monitor project progress, track milestones, and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
Prepare and present project updates and reports to stakeholders and leadership.
Act as liaison between client and team members.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Requirements:

Knowledge of higher education policies, trends, and challenges is advantageous.
Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role in higher education or academic settings.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Knowledge of Basecamp and Wordpress.
Excellent organizational skills.
