Job Summary
Auburn University Libraries is seeking applicants for the position of Student Assistant in the IT Department to assist faculty and staff with daily, routine library operations. Students in the Libraries IT Department should have a certain basic set of skills to be able to assist the department efficiently and effectively. Our expectation is performance to the best of your ability on all tasks requested.

Essential Functions
Assist Auburn University Libraries staff in resolving computing questions as well as hardware/software problems/repairs/maintenance
Assist IT staff in updating computer software, imaging laptops/computers, swapping out computer equipment
Refer users to other information resources when necessary to resolve computer usage issues
Maintain a neat and orderly work area
Help set up/transport equipment
Minimum Qualifications
Enrolled student at Auburn University

Be willing to work as a team member while interacting with faculty, staff, and students
Possess strong interpersonal and communications skills
Dependability, multi-tasking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are imperative
