Job Description

Instruct courses under the College Credit Plus Program (CCP) at the applicant’s school district of employment.

Ensure the academic quality and content of the YSU courses by communicating with the Director of Dual Enrollment and Student Support Services in the YSU Department of Mathematics and Statistics.

Attend three hours of CCP professional development activities each year (i.e., roundtable meetings)

Submit a copy of your syllabus to the Director of Dual Enrollment for approval prior to the start of the term.

Adhere to the CCP policies of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics (i.e., mentoring, submitting assessments, grading by rubric, among others)

Administer assessments.

Verify course roster.

Enter grades and submit change of grade forms.

Host site visits from the department and CCP staff.

Complete and return paperwork as required in a timely manner (contracts, personnel forms, evaluations, etc.).

Position Information
Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university-provided tools and resources.

Qualifications and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in the content area, or master’s degree with 18 hours of mathematics/statistics graduate credit embedded in or on top of master's.
