Job Duties
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Design, configure, and deploy systems infrastructure to meet the organization’s business needs, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
2. Collaborate with the IT team and stakeholders to analyze system requirements, define system architecture, and develop technical solutions.
3. Implement and maintain hardware and software components of systems infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, networking equipment, virtualization technologies, and cloud computing platforms.
4. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolution to ensure optimal system functionality.
5. Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery planning to protect against data loss and ensure business continuity.
6. Contribute to research, development, and improvement of system installation, configuration, and maintenance standards and procedures based on industry best practices and frameworks.
Requested Minimum Qualifications
Education:
A minimum educational requirement of a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.

Experience:
A minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience with an IT industry certification(s) is required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment

A Bachelor’s degree preferred in computer science, MIS, information technology, or related field from an accredited college or university.
Knowledge and experience in some or most of the following technical areas: LAN/WAN router & switch administration, VLAN/VxLAN, firewalls, VoIP, DNS, IPAM, Microsoft Active Directory, Azure, SCCM, SCOM, M365, Google Workspace, virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix), software patch management, backup & recovery tools, and PowerShell scripting.
Experience with converged systems, such as blade systems, clustering, load balancing, and virtual networking.
Proficiency in collaborating with vendors to ensure accurate configuration of hardware and software.
