Job Description

The University of Oklahoma College of Law in Norman, Oklahoma (OU Law) seeks applicants for up to 3 visiting professor (Visitor) positions for the 2025-2026 academic year. OU Law welcomes outstanding applicants in all areas with a particular interest in curricular needs in the areas of constitutional law, first amendment, evidence, civil procedure, and criminal procedure. The Visitor also may have the opportunity to teach a seminar as part of a two-course per semester teaching commitment. The Visitor will have no service obligations but will be welcomed into the intellectual life of the law school, which includes a regular faculty enrichment series.

OU Law is located on the southern edge of the University of Oklahoma's beautiful, main campus, located in Norman, Oklahoma. The successful Visitor candidates will possess a J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school and will have a record of professional excellence and strong classroom teaching skills, including outstanding teaching evaluations.
