The University of Louisville Department of Medicine Division of Palliative Medicine has a wonderful opportunity for a full-time inpatient physician who may provide additional outpatient services.
Our mission:
To provide comprehensive, person-centered care for adults through excellent inpatient and outpatient care.
To provide excellent education to medical students, residents and fellows in Palliative Medicine using evidence-based medicine and an interprofessional approach.
To advance the field of Palliative Medicine through scholarly activity.
Candidates shall have an interest in the education of medical students, residents and fellows, and will be expected to participate in professional development offered by both the Division and the Department. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Candidates must be an M.D., D.O. or foreign equivalent and must have completed an accredited residency in internal medicine prior to their start date. Ability to obtain medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Kentucky is also required prior to the beginning of employment. Active board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine also required.
