What Your Job Will Be Like:

We are seeking a Year-Round - Technical Graduate Intern to join our dynamic team! We are a team that provides equipment, facilities, and maintenance support to Center 7500. We manage programmatic assets and process infrastructure equipment for the Component Science, Engineer and Production organization, Center 7500. The team provides services including identifying equipment needs, developing specifications, performing factory acceptance tests, installing, and characterizing equipment. We also provide retirement services for equipment, ensuring it is decommissioned properly.

On any given day, you may be called on to:

• Work with engineers to establish specifications and process requirements for new equipment
• Work with engineers to operate new equipment to validate performance
• Work with technologists to troubleshoot and repair new and existing equipment
• Work with larger team in support team projects that may include moving, storing, installing or disposing of equipment

Salary Range:

At Sandia, we value the important work done by our interns and its contribution to National Security. Because of this, our interns earn competitive pay rates. Our pay structure is based on earned credit hours, classification, and degree level. Your pay rate will be determined during the hire process and included in your offer package. Qualifications We Require:

You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:

• Earned bachelor's degree
• Currently attending and enrolled full time in a related accredited graduate program
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
• Ability to work up to 30 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer
• Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship

Qualifications We Desire:

• Ability to work productively in a teaming situation.
• Current full-time enrollment in a degree program regarding Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.

Security Clearance:

Sandia is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications.
