Primary Responsibilties

This position is responsible for the administration of the Dietetic Internship Program (DI) and Individualized Supervised Practice Program (ISPP), which includes the development, coordination, and maintenance of supervised practice sites; course/curriculum development and evaluation; records and reports; program and intern assessments, and all activities related to program accreditation. In addition, the individual will have teaching responsibilities that meet the needs of the department and programs. As a team member of the Department of Nutritional Sciences, this individual will work closely with the Director of the Coordinated Program and collaboratively with others to foster the mission of the department and college, which is to develop health professionals who enrich the lives of people and communities through interprofessional education, discovery, and care.

Required:  

  • Credentialed as Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Minimum of three years professional experience post credentialing
  • Earned relevant master’s or post-professional doctoral degree
  • Licensed in Oklahoma or meet eligibility requirements for Oklahoma Licensure

Preferences (Not Required)

  • Experience with contemporary dietetics education and practice
  • Experience with the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics standards
  • Strong team and individual interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
