This position provides administrative, technical, and operational support to the Campus Coordinator, faculty, and students on the College of Nursing at Athens campus.
Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to:
Provide Academic Program/Student Affairs support to all students on the Athens Campus:
ACEMAPP/SYMPLR: Credentialing for BSN and CNL programs. Assist with faculty credentialing. Monitor BSN program immunizations records: AU institution immunization tracking, Run IM Reports via Crystal. Collect/file/sort student end of semester evaluations for all students on the Athens campus, sort/disseminate and mail appropriate forms to main campus etc. Communicate and maintain relationships with clinical partners for the purpose of student clearance. Coordinate with BSN Co-Director: student orientations, meet and greet events, agendas, guest speakers, packets, student emails, etc. Collaborate with the Program Mangers on Augusta campus to ensure compliance with campus deadlines, graduation process, student registration, NursingCAS, Banner entries, JagTrax support, AU Bookstore, etc. Pre-Nursing student support: Assist/address potential students' questions via email, phone, meetings, transcripts, prerequisite evaluations, tours, etc. Distribute Augusta University student IDs to BSN and CNL students. Distribute convocation invitations and books. Assist students with student leadership and professional organization account setup, class composites, deferment letters/memos, and events. Monitor BSN non-compliant legislative exams when needed.
NCLEX Reporting BSN & Augusta and Athens Campuses:
BSN NCLEX Updates
Record Keeping/Monitor/Maintain:
UGA Liaison: Provide info to UGA in regard to: UGA ID cards, Student Health Access, Ramsey Center, IT/Athletic Dept., etc. St. Mary's Hospital badges: Create identifiable labels, monitor cards each semester. Children Hospital of Atlanta badges. Door Access Cards: Input BSN/CNL students, activate cards, create labels; delete names out of system upon graduation. Student Records; Create folders, labels, filing. Assist with recruitment events and maintenance of recruitment supplies; distribute perspective student info. to appropriate individuals.
Public relations with corporate business (Publix):
Disseminate receipts/voucher for public account; assist with Publix inquiries.
Other Business:
Serve as notary for student, faculty, and staff. Assist faculty as needed. Backup support for other employees as needed. Assist CON Dean as needed.
Facilities:
Assist with building maintenance and deliveries. Make sure all students had cleared out the building at the end of the day. Check that all doors are closed and locked. Shut down equipment and activate alarm system.
Required Qualifications
Associates degree or completion of 2 or more years of education from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 6 years of applicable experience to include at least 3 years in an academic setting. OR High School diploma, GED or equivalent from a recognized state or federal accredited organization required plus 3 years clerical/secretarial experience in an office setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited college in a related field and 1 year of experience. Demonstrated evidence of successful experience in customer service.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Knowledge of general office procedures. Ability to complete assigned tasks and make decisions based on guidelines, policies, and procedures. Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Banner. Excellent oral and written communication skills, and customer service orientation. Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines despite often interruptions, maintain confidentiality and keep accurate records.
Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days/M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay Band: 7
Salary: $20.28/hour - $20.36/hour
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position.

Conditions of Employment

The primary work location for this position is within the Augusta University Medical Center or other Augusta University Health System Clinic Space and is subject to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services guidelines.
