Position Summary
Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management, the Associate Director of Enrollment Systems will provide operational and systems management to support the Division of Enrollment Services & Student Success (ESSS).
The successful candidate will act as a key liaison across functional areas and IT staff to develop CRM best practices and ensure data integrity and functionality. CRM customization, development, and training to support the strategic enrollment goals of the university will be primary focuses for this role.
As a Slate Administrator, the successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks to develop efficient solutions that facilitate business operations related to enrollment services and the student experience. This position will build, test, implement, and maintain processes and CRM functionality used by ESSS departments and other campus partners.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with key campus stakeholders to maximize the use of Slate and its integration with existing technologies to improve the student experience
Serve as a project leader for system designs and enhancements, preparing necessary documentation and outlining associated business processes
Proactively seek new features and enhancements to the functionality of Slate to ensure the system is following best practices defined by Technolutions
Collaborate with ESSS stakeholders to facilitate upgrades, enhancements, and changes to the Slate system
Understand Banner tables and data translations to ensure accurate integration between Slate and other data systems
Coordinates with Strategic Communications on the production of targeted communications that will contribute to the overall enrollment management communication stream
Generate and deliver testing solutions to facilitate two-way data sharing between Banner and Slate that will minimize data inaccuracies
Troubleshoot and maintain CRM, software, and database systems within ESSS
Manage ongoing data auditing and cleanup and develop procedures for identifying and solving data issues
Support other new enrollment services initiatives and other duties as assigned

Required Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Three (3) year of professional experience related to duties and responsibilities
Preferred Education and/or Experience
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university
Experience with project management and/or implementation of a new system
Five (5) years of experience within Enrollment Management at a college or university
Experience with Ellucian Banner and/or Slate
