Posting Summary
The Nurse Supervisor serves as one of the primary leaders in the Student Health clinic within the Center for Health and Wellbeing. The Nurse Supervisor serves in a critical role that supports all nurses and clinic assistants while creating a supportive and welcoming clinic culture. Provide supervision for nursing staff and functions, as well as related projects within the Center for Health & Wellbeing (CHWB) and Student Health Services (SHS). Promote collaboration across units of CHWB (CAPS, Living Well, and Athletic Medicine) in support of students’ health and success. Responsible for promoting an inclusive environment for students and staff of all races, ethnicities, religious, national origins, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, and ages. Responsible for supporting the mission and philosophy of the CHWB, Division of Student Affairs and the University of Vermont. Maintains a commitment to excellence in service and quality of care and a lens focused on student success.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in nursing and two to four years experience to include management/leadership experience in nursing field required. RN license in Vermont or eligible required. Current CPR certification required. Experience in utilizing medical technology in working with medical records required. Effective verbal and written communication skills required. Experience working with young adult population required. Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusiveness required.
Desirable Qualifications
Anticipated Pay Range $75,000 to $90,000

Special Conditions A probationary period may be required, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Background Check required for this position
