Summary
Baylor College of Medicine-CHRISTUS Children's in San Antonio is seeking a highly motivated and competent professional to serve as a Research Technician with primary responsibilities for providing support within the department of pediatrics. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, be a great team player, and have strong and proven organizational skills.
This position is temporary and will be supported for up to three years.
Job Duties
- Set up 3-D printer including learning software.
- 3-Dprinter clean ups.
- Collaborate with 3-D medical director to help set up cardiac medical modeling.
- Collaborate with medical director to help set up 3-D printing for departments like orthopedics, ent, orofaciomaxial surgery and others.
- Assist with research and manuscripts preparations.
- Assist in clinical data collections as needed for research.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
- One year of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in basic science or a related field.
- Two years of relevant experience.
