Qualifications
Applicants at the Assistant Professor level are expected to have an outstanding track record of academic excellence with the drive to establish extramurally-funded research programs through independent and collaborative research. Applicants at the Associate Professor level are expected to have an established extramurally funded research program and a robust track record of publication and collaboration. All applicants are required to hold a Ph.D. or an M.D./Ph.D. degree.
About the Department
The Medical School's Department of Genetics, Cell Biology and Development is a vibrant, multi-disciplinary department with outstanding faculty in genomics and genetics, cell biology, and developmental biology. GCD faculty span the Medical School and the College of Biological Sciences and have access to excellent core facilities, an outstanding graduate program, an interdisciplinary environment integrated with translational research, engineering and computational expertise, and life sciences research across scales from atoms to organisms.
