This position serves as a contact for dual-credit students and services. The position maintains appropriate lines of communication with key stakeholders at high schools and the university. The person in this position coordinates onsite and online course scheduling, billing, registration due dates, course addition/drop/withdrawal deadlines, and necessary paperwork for instructors who teach dual-credit courses. The individual interacts with students and their families, high school personnel, and college administration and faculty. In addition, the person engages in projects and initiatives that promote best practices for Online and Strategic Learning.



The Dual Credit program is in need of a Temp HS and Statewide Initiatives Coordinator position to assist in managing systems, processes, and services that enhance the students’ overall experience. The position maintains appropriate lines of communication with key stakeholders at high schools and the university. The person in this position coordinates onsite and online course scheduling, billing, registration due dates, course addition/drop/withdrawal deadlines, and necessary paperwork for instructors who teach dual-credit courses. Job Function:

Minimum Education:

Associate’s degree or equivalent in office administration or related field.


Minimum Experience:

Over one through three years of related office and customer service experience. Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the university’s auto fleet policy.


Preferred Experience:

Additional years of administrative and customer service experience; excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient in MS Office; proficient use of a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool, and/or enterprise database such as a Student Information System, preferably Banner.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the process of student verification and registration forms; review, enter demographic details, and code each record in the Student Information System (i.e. Banner Flexible Registration); process add/drop/withdrawal requests according to policy; serve as a resource for student success, and work with other functional areas to investigate and resolve problems.


  • Create, organize, analyze, and respond to reports impacting the online and strategic programming student life cycle and overall programs. Disseminate information and assign tasks and responsibilities as a result.


  • Review high schools’ course application requests for each course offered each academic year; includes reviewing course requests, instructor’s vitae, transcripts, syllabus, and textbook information; coordinate the process and paperwork flow for instructors hired in the Dual Credit program to the department chairperson and dean’s office; coordinate logistics with high schools regarding onsite and/or online classes offered, dates, meeting times, class enrollment, and high school instructors.


  • Create and process each requested course in the Banner Flexible Registration System; notify administrative coordinators, instructors, department chairpersons, and each high school; post each course into their appropriate catalogs and notify the Bursar’s Office of each class’s specific tuition fee.

  • Maintain and distribute high school dual credit information handbooks for administrators, instructors, and students.
  • Initiate, review, and edit correspondence, reports, and other student success related materials.
  • Travel, as directed, to off-campus locations to conduct admission and registration processes.
  • Participate in assigned individual, team, and small group projects and efforts that promote best practices in the areas of strategic learning and student success.
  • Seek and perform other related duties as assigned.
