Our work includes basic research, analysis, development, and delivery of technologies and methodologies to predict, detect, identify, defeat, decontaminate, and mitigate threats posed by chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) agents. Some examples include: chem/bio agent mitigation and neutralizat¿ion, dispersal device characterization, deployable onsite analysis of biological threats, threat containment, decontamination methodology testing, and situational/environmental awareness through atmospheric science. We apply chemical, biological, and atmospheric sciences to the mission of WMD counterterrorism to provide federal sponsors with key technologies, modeling/simulation, testing/evaluation, chem/bio analysis, and atmospheric science capabilities to support critical decision making before, during, and after WMD events.
