Job Description
The School of Art at Ball State University invites applications for part-time instructors to teach a variety of courses in Graphic Design and Graphic Arts Management, including ADS 200 Computer for Visual Communication/Graphic Design; ADS 301 Web Design: Coding for Designers; ADS 302 Motion Graphics for Graphic Design; GCM 283 Graphics: Packaging Technology; GCM 373 Graphics: Packaging Construction and Design; GCM 385 Graphics: Cross Media Communications, and additional courses in the candidate’s area of expertise. Successful candidates may be hired to teach between one and three sections, and we offer both online and in-person modalities. Course development support and pedagogical mentoring will be offered.

Minimum Experience:
- Master’s degree in graphic arts management, graphic design, or related field from an accredited institution by date of appointment OR
- Two years of documented industry experience in graphic design, graphic arts management, or a related field.
Preferred Experience:
One year of teaching experience at the college level
