Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Communication or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Position Description:
This temporary part-time position will report to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry (ULSD) Director of Communications & Marketing and will primarily provide support on a project to edit website content and move it to a new content management system. This temporary position will work approximately 22 hours per week and will not exceed 6 months. This position is located at the School of Dentistry-501 S. Preston Street and work must be completed in person during regular business hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Carefully move written and visual content from the current content management system to the new content management system, ensuring high-quality design and user experience
Review and edit content, applying a consistent tone and ensuring adherence to proper spelling and grammar as well as brand- and project-specific style guides
Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Recent (within the past 5 years) experience using a website content management system and a digital asset management system
Training and experience in plain language writing for health care
Knowledge or experience
Competencies
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to change directions as needed for the good of the department or organization
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
