Job Description

The Department of Finance and Insurance offers a full-time Assistant Lecturer/ Assistant Teaching Professor of Risk Management and Insurance position for one year, beginning in August 2024. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in Risk Management and Insurance. In addition to teaching, the role involves participation in professional and university service activities, scholarship, and providing service to the Risk Management and Insurance program. The teaching load is 12 hours each semester on campus, with some courses potentially delivered online or in a hybrid format.

Minimum Experience:

Minimum qualifications for this role include a Master's Degree in Insurance or related field or significant insurance experience and/or industry certification.

Preferred Experience:

A PhD in Risk Management and Insurance from an accredited institution by date of appointment.
