Job Summary
The Center for Community Outreach and Applied Research is accepting applications for an Information Research Tech 2.

This position will work in Accounts Payable to support the DHS Support Services grant. The incumbent will maintain a record of the status of accounts, to compile and analyze Performance Measure Outcomes for Families First and WIOA program outcomes. Serve as master database compiler of all Families First cases and ensure that database is 100% consistent with DHS Accent system. Similar work in the WIOA VOS system may be required. Track all clients to ensure that all performance incentives are met. Also, may be responsible for operating the client transportation payment system and working with the Center’s QuickBooks data entry system. Must be able to synthesize ideas into cohesive reports and plans, organize and prioritize multiple tasks, work with diverse employees and customers, and communicate verbally and in writing effectively. This position will perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of business English, punctuation, and spelling.
Knowledge of computer office equipment, applications for word processing, spreadsheets, and databases in Windows environment.
Knowledge of QuickBooks is highly desirable.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
Ability to learn the Tennessee Department of Human Services Accent Data Entry System and TDOLWD’s VOS data entry system.
Ability to communicate effectively with staff, DHS, and American Job Center personnel
Ability to work in a detail-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED with at least two years of relevant work experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications experience.
