The School of Journalism and Strategic Communication has a full-time non-tenure-track Assistant Lecturer position for one year only available August 2024. The teaching emphases will be in news writing and reporting, strategic communication, user-centered experience design, interaction design, graphic design and web design and development.

Job Function:

The School of Journalism and Strategic Communication has a full-time non-tenure-track Assistant Lecturer position for one year only available August 2024. The teaching emphases will be in news writing and reporting, strategic communication, user-centered experience design, interaction design, graphic design and web design and development.

Minimum Experience:

Master's degree in journalism, mass communication, user experience design, human-computer interaction, media informatics, information systems, computer science, visual communication, or related field from an accredited institution by date of appointment.

Preferred Experience:

Ph.D. or MFA in journalism, strategic communication, user experience design, human-computer interaction, media informatics, information systems, computer science, visual communication, or other related field from an accredited institution by date of appointment; one year of professional experience in human-computer interaction, project design and client management, human-centered experience design, strategic communication or a related field; undergraduate-level teaching experience;
