Job Overview
The Program Manager position for CCM's Division of Ensembles and Conducting assists the Division in Administrative and Financial tasks including (but not limited to): Ordering and managing supplies and equipment, the purchase and rental of sheet music for performance, arranging for travel and accommodations for guest lecturers/performers, processing payments and contracts for guest artists/lecturers/performer, the administration of course evaluations, and assisting the Unit Head in day-to-day administrative matters.

Essential Functions
Manage and administrate departmental programs. Perform program needs assessment and make recommendations.
Implement policies and procedures.
Maintain budget, prepare contracts, approve and monitor expenditures, prepare budget requests and financial reports.
Act as liaison to internal departments, external entities and community organizations.
May prepare and edit reports and/or newsletters and develop publication materials.
May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree.
Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Additional Qualifications Considered
Arts Administration degree, certification, and/or arts-related administrative experience.

Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
