The Program Coordinator for the Department of Internal Medicine, Medical Student Education will work together with the Program Manager and Program Director to plan and coordinate the activities of the third- and fourth-year medical students while they rotate through Internal Medicine. This individual will schedule orientations for the medical students and will communicate with the students during the rotation. In addition, they will coordinate/oversee lectures, conferences, and schedules.

Essential Functions
Create and coordinate all orientation materials and schedules for medical students.
Communicate with the students during the rotation regarding various issues that arise/troubleshoot any problems and oversee lectures, conferences, and schedules.
Manage and maintain all grades and evaluations for medical students.
Responsible for assuring faculty evaluations are completed in a timely manner.
Work with the Director of Medical Student Education on annual letters of recommendation.
Support the Director of Medical Student Education in day-to-day administrative activities.
Prepare confidential memos and letters.
Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree.
Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
One (1) year of program coordination experience.
