The Administrative Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Physical Therapy Program within the Westbrook College of Health Professions, including faculty and student support, program events, communications, records, financial processes, and day-to-day office operations.

Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day administrative operations for the Physical Therapy Program and serve as a primary point of contact for students, faculty, staff, alumni, vendors, and University departments.
Provide administrative support to faculty, including scheduling, meetings, travel, program documentation, and adjunct faculty onboarding.
Coordinate program events, projects, meetings, communications, and related logistics.
Maintain accurate program records, databases, and tracking systems; compile data and information to support reporting and program needs.
Process financial and administrative transactions, including budget support, monitoring expenditures, journal entries, and monthly P-card reconciliation.
Respond to inquiries, explain policies and procedures, coordinate services, and resolve routine issues while escalating complex matters as appropriate.
Support alumni engagement and identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, workflows, and program operations.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of the Physical Therapy Program.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in business or other appropriate discipline, plus one to three years of relevant clerical and administrative experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills have been acquired.
Broad base of general clerical skills, including typing/word processing, filing, phone/office reception, and so forth.
Good basic administrative and organizational skills. Experience in organizing and maintaining a moderately complex filing and records systems. Good reading, spelling/grammar and general writing and math skills.
Ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of University personnel, students, and/or outside individuals/organizations.
