The Gambling Clinic at the University of Memphis is seeking a Project Coordinator to support research, administrative, and operational activities related to problem gambling services and studies. The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in clinical psychology, problem gambling research, and research documentation, along with strong customer service, organizational, and database management skills. This is a grant-funded position and is contingent upon continued funding availability.
Especially interested in candidates with knowledge and experience with clinical psychology and problem gambling research and documentation of research activities. One year of customer service experience and knowledge of standard office-related and database management software expected.
This is a grant-funded position. This appointment is contingent upon the continued availability of grant funds and may be terminated at any time without cause or prior written notice. There is no expectation of continued employment beyond the expiration date of the grant. This appointment is made subject to the laws of the State of Tennessee and the policies and requirements of the University of Memphis.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate the team’s reporting responsibilities to key stakeholders, including tracking research projects, public awareness and outreach initiatives, professional and academic presentations, and other reporting requirements requested by funders. Compile, organize, and coordinate reports under the direction of the Institute’s leadership team, ensuring timely and accurate submission of required deliverables.
Coordinate efforts of the two gambling research teams. Responsibilities include tracking research projects from development to manuscript preparation, keeping records of research activities including databases, and managing all related correspondences.
Monitor and manage all interactions with project’s website and marketing firm, including all analytics from website traffic.
Supervise outreach efforts and client tracking efforts by Gambling Addiction Recovery Specialists. This responsibility includes weekly meetings, documentation of efforts, and updates to grant leadership team.
Develop and maintain all calendars, schedule meetings, tracking and procedural documentation, and data portals.
Attend all leadership planning and update meetings and produce communication to both the leadership team and the clinical and research teams as appropriate
Other duties as assigned by grant leadership team.
