The Division of Marketing and Supply Chain Management (MSCM) in the Michael F. Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma (OU) is experiencing an exciting period of growth and expansion. To support this growth, we invite applications for a tenure-track position in supply chain management at the rank of assistant professor or untenured associate professor.

We seek candidates who conduct empirical research, with a preference for senior assistant professors and untenured associate professors. Doctoral candidates who expect to complete their degrees by August 2027 are also encouraged to apply. The appointment will begin in August 2027.

Our Supply Chain Management (SCM) group supports research across a broad range of supply chain topics. Faculty members publish in premier journals, including Management Science, Production and Operations Management, Journal of Operations Management, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, and Journal of Supply Chain Management. The MSCM Division houses undergraduate programs in supply chain management, marketing, and healthcare business; supports many of the college’s graduate programs; and recently launched an online Master of Science in Supply Chain Management program. This position is in the Supply Chain Management area.

In addition to conducting and publishing high-quality research, the successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Primary teaching responsibilities will include supply chain management topics across our academic programs.

Required qualifications:

• A doctoral degree (or ABD status) in supply chain management, operations management, or a closely related field.
• Commensurate with the candidate’s experience, evidence of, or potential for conducting and publishing empirical research in premier supply chain management journals.
• Evidence of high-quality teaching.

Preferred qualifications:

• Professional experience in supply chain management or a closely related field and experience engaging with the supply chain management business community.
• Experience teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Experience teaching online courses at the undergraduate or graduate level.
