Job Description
Summary
This position is for Postdoctoral Associate to study the immune and metabolic mechanisms that drive breast cancer metastasis and therapeutic response. The project focuses on ER+ breast cancer, bone metastasis, tumor–immune interactions, macrophage biology, fatty-acid metabolism, and therapeutic targeting. The Postdoctoral Associate will use in vivo cancer models, pharmacologic inhibitors, immune profiling, and spatial omics to investigate how the metastatic microenvironment regulates tumor progression and immune suppression.

Postdoctoral Associate should think critically, communicate openly, respond well to feedback, and be a strong team player who contributes positively to collaborative science.
Job Duties
- Plans, directs, and conducts specialized and advanced research experiments.
- Evaluates and analyzes data.
- Establishes new research protocols and procedures.
- Summarizes research findings and publish results in research journals.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in tumor immunology / immune biology, particularly macrophages, T cells, NK cells, or the tumor immune microenvironment.
- Experience in vivo cancer models that include animal handling, tumor studies, tissue collection, treatment studies, and experimental design.
- Experience in cancer biology, with breast cancer is strongly desired.
- Experience in therapeutic studies using small-molecule inhibitors or targeted agents.
- Experience in flow cytometry/FACS, immune phenotyping, IHC/immunofluorescence, molecular and cellular assays.
- High-dimensional or spatial omics, such as spatial transcriptomics, imaging mass cytometry, spatial proteomics/metabolomics, or single-cell RNA sequencing.
- Strong publication record that includes first-author peer-reviewed publication(s).
- Strong experimental and analytical skills.
- Ability to independently design, execute, troubleshoot, and interpret experiments.
- Excellent scientific writing, speaking, and presentation skills.
- Ability and enthusiasm to quickly learn new approaches and technologies.
