Job Description
Position Summary
This role is responsible for handling a wide variety of projects that require analytical and evaluative skills, as well as model development. Experience using Banner, iBuy, Teams, and Emburse. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently to ensure smooth and accurate office operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct annual departmental Indirect Cost Recovery (ICR) analysis and project ICR return for the upcoming fiscal year
Conduct ICR return calculations for individual faculty and complete budget transfer feeder file
Create proposal submission database and track proposal submission trends for departmental faculty over time
Assist with collecting faculty activity data and provide the information to the department Head to aid with faculty productivity analysis
Assist with Business Office transactions and provide analysis of errors and returns to decrease overall processing and approval times
Create a trend forecasting database for departmental business transactions to assist with bottleneck reduction and increase processing efficiency
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Any one or combination totaling four (4) years (48 months) from the categories below:
college coursework comparable to that in a field related to financial analysis/planning such as accounting, business administration, economics, finance, statistics, or a closely related field
30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
Associate Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen (18) months
90-semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
Bachelor’s Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months)
Master’s Degree equals four (4) years (48 months)
work experience in developing financial or economic analyses, research designs, strategic plans, or data models.
One (1) year (12 months) of professional level progressively responsible financial work experience.
