Job Summary:
. The Olsen College of Engineering and Science at Fairleigh Dickinson University seeks a broadly trained biologist for appointment to a full-time lecturer position to begin August 2026 . The primary focus of the position will be teaching and coordinating laboratories for our Anatomy and Physiology I and II courses. These courses are taught in person at the Florham Campus, and are primarily for students in the Nursing, Allied Health, and Health Studies majors. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate with other instructors for these courses, and will also be expected to direct and organize adjunct lab instructors, as needed. Additionally, the successful candidate may have opportunities to teach Anatomy and Physiology lecture and/or courses in our freshman biology sequence, our general education sequence, or in their area of expertise.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Biology or a related area, and teaching experience in anatomy and physiology is preferred. Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, a teaching statement, and three recommendation letters.
Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
