Title IX Coordinator and Senior Director of Civil Rights

Reporting to the assistant vice president of human resources, the Title IX coordinator/sr. director is responsible for strategic leadership of institutional efforts toward civil rights compliance, access, awareness, education, and response. The senior director for the office of civil rights (OCR), will oversee university compliance pursuant to Title VI, Title VII, and Title IX, as well as the Americans with Disabilities Act/Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (ADA).
The salary range for this position is $130,000-$140,000.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in a related field and eight years of relevant experience, including experience in a management role, or a master’s degree and six years of professional relevant experience, including management experience, are required.
The ideal candidate will have direct experience in Title IX and civil rights compliance within higher education, a demonstrated commitment to staying informed on relevant federal and state laws, and a track record of success leading in a fast-paced and student-centered environment.
