About the Position:

The adjunct applied Musical Theater Voice professor will teach individualized lessons, starting January 2026.

Responsibilities:

Teach Applied Musical Theater Voice lessons;
Provide weekly studio class;
Participate in recruitment for the Musical Theater Voice Studio;
Adjudicate Musical Theater Voice Juries; and
Participate in Musical Theater initiatives.
Required Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Music or equivalent professional experience;
Successful experience teaching at the college level; and
An established reputation as a professional artist with a documented portfolio of live performances.
Preferred Qualifications:

Successful experience teaching vocal techniques for musical theater styles;
Piano skills sufficient for accompanying voice students in lessons;
Experience teaching students to build technical proficiency and repertoire across the genre; and
Demonstrated ability working with a diverse population of artists, students, faculty, staff, and community members.
