Assistant/Associate Professor – AI and Business Analytics
Description:
The School of Business at Emory & Henry University invites applications for a full-time, 12-month faculty position in its Undergraduate and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs. This non-tenure-track position may transition into a tenure-track role based on the qualifications and fit of the candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in AI and Business Analytics, including lecture and experiential learning activities.
Engage in scholarly research and maintain a program of academic productivity appropriate to rank.
Contribute to curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation for the Business Administration and MBA programs.
Develop and integrate AI-related instructional experiences within the business curriculum.
Participate in program assessment, accreditation processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Advise, mentor, and support students in achieving academic success and career goals.
Serve on university, school, and program-specific committees as appointed or elected.
Foster student engagement, retention, and degree completion through innovative teaching and academic support.
Actively contribute to faculty recruitment and hiring processes.
Promote an inclusive and academically excellent learning environment.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Earned doctorate in AI, Business Analytics, or a closely related field (required).
Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
Minimum of three years of full-time college teaching experience in a business department or school.
Industry experience in AI, business analytics, or a related field is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in developing and teaching online courses is strongly preferred.
Proven ability to effectively teach and explain entrepreneurial concepts preferred.
