The College of Health’s Interprofessional Community Clinics seeks a licensed Audiologist to serve patients in our Audiology Clinic. The Audiologist will provide comprehensive audiological services across the lifespan. This is a temporary, part-time non-benefited position.Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
What you'll do and what you'll bring:
Position Function:
Provide audiological evaluation and treatment for patients seen in the clinics. Position is temporarily funded and therefore is not benefits-eligible.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive audiological diagnostic and treatment services across the lifespan to patients within the clinics.
Complete all necessary clinical documentation to support patient treatment plans and to facilitate the timely filing of health care claims to insurance payers.
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to the clinic’s policies and procedures for securing protected health information in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Adhere to and strictly follow CoH Clinic’s policies on security related to clinical spaces and patient care and safety.
Provide clinical outreach support through scheduled programming and health fair events in the local community.
Provide clinical supervision to students in accredited training programs.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree from an accredited institution by date of appointment withCCC-Audiology certification.
Six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Audiologist.
Hold Indiana state licensure in Audiology from the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA). Eligible to be credentialed as an Audiologist with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as well as commercial health insurance carriers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctorate degree from an accredited institution withCCC-Audiology.
Three years or more of clinical experience as a licensed Audiologist.
