Summary

The Biostatistics and Data Research Unit at the Children's Nutrition Research Center in Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a Part-Time Coordinator, Program Management.

The mission of the Biostatistics and Data Research Unit at the Children's Nutrition Research Center in Baylor College of Medicine is to provide outstanding support in the design and analysis of research studies including grant development, and to strengthen the educational activities for undergraduate and graduate students, trainees, faculty and staff. The primary purpose of this position is to demonstrate technical skills in implementing research studies and educational activities, including assistance with planning and implementing efforts for a training grant with Prairie View A&M.

Job Duties

  • Supports clinical research studies and grant submissions, including identifying data collection tools, conducting literature reviews and verifying sources of information often in the areas of nutrition, obesity, metabolic disease and health disparities.
  • Assists with planning and coordinating methods teaching activities (e.g.curriculum development, identifying resources, stakeholder engagement).
  • Assists with developing and organizing educational materials (e.g., verifying content, editing).
  • Organizes meeting materials and applies good record keeping (e.g., organizing, archiving).
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition, public health, or related health field.
  • Background in assisting or participating in project coordination, training activity or related administrative support.
