Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities
Recruits high school students to MSU through college visits, fairs, and meetings with prospective high school students.

Inform, advise and counsel prospective students and their families about the university.
Make off-campus visitations to high schools and appropriate non-school programs to provide information about the university.
Attendance at weekend and evening events.
Participate in the panning of the recruitment plan for the office.
Assist in the general administrative and, at times, clerical responsibilities of the office.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements
Must have experience with student recruitment-related activities.
Excellent writing skills, as demonstrated in application materials.
Excellent oral communication skills.
Ability to use discretionary judgment.
Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Excellent leadership and time management skills.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
