College/Department Information
The Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center is the single largest investment in a cybersecurity facility in the nation to date. The $100 million facility will help to fill the current and growing shortage of cybersecurity talent in the state and nation. The Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center represents a unique public/private partnership that includes Augusta University, Augusta Technical College, the University System of Georgia's research institutions, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, and other state, federal, and private-sector partners working together to meet this workforce demand and to innovate, train, and strengthen defenses.
The state-of-the-art Center is located in the growing cybersecurity corridor in Augusta, Georgia, that is also home to the U.S. Army Cyber Command and Cyber School of Excellence at Fort Eisenhower. The Center is located on the downtown campus of Augusta University and houses the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences.
Job Summary
The Office Specialist (Receptionist) at the Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center will serve as a resource for tenants and students while making the first positive impression on our guests.
Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to:

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES: Assist students, tenants, and guests by answering questions, providing maps, and helping them navigate through the campus. Maintain courteous and timely service to the employees, visitors, and guests. Represent the Center in a courteous and professional manner. Ask questions and listen to determine what each person needs. Use operational knowledge of the building to provide swift resolution to challenges experienced by students, tenants, or guests. Report service shortcomings affecting the guest experience in appropriate areas.
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT: Support site amenities and programs as directed, including but not limited to: reception, events, mail, and courier services, materials storage, document management, copy services, shipping programs, and others as directed/needed.
UPDATE INFORMATION: Prepare forms, correspondence, and reports, and update/maintain databases, as necessary, including researching materials and/or contacting appropriate individuals both on and off campus for information
BADGES: Following standard operating procedure, issue badges to tenants, students, and staff of the Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center
EVENTS: Provide administrative support to on-site events as assigned
OTHER DUTIES: Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization with a minimum of three years of progressively responsible office support experience.
OR
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field

Conditions of Employment
All selected candidates are required to successfully pass a Background Check review prior to starting with Augusta University.
If applicable for the specific position based on the duties: the candidate will also need to have a credit check completed for Positions of Trust and or approved departmental Purchase Card usage.
Motor vehicle reports are required for positions that are required to drive an Augusta University vehicle.
