Database Records Specialist
Department: Gift Management
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Position Overview & Responsibilities
The Gift Management team is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Database Records Specialist to support the accurate processing and maintenance of donor information. This position plays a key role in ensuring the integrity of the donor database and the proper designation and acknowledgment of gifts using Salesforce. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Enter data related to donations, gifts, and donor information in Salesforce
- Maintain database integrity by verifying and categorizing gift details, including type, biographical data, and research designation
- Analyze gifts to determine appropriate designation to campaigns, appeals, or research programs
- Prepare and send daily gift receipts and notifications to donors and honored parties or families
- Run reports to support data accuracy and donor acknowledgment processes
- Conduct research using the internet and print directories to validate or supplement donor and gift information
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma (or GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Superb attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer one (1) year of data entry experience. Experience with Salesforce or other CRMs is preferred.
Work Hours
Typically, Monday through Friday from 8:30AM to 5:00PM.
