Job Profile Summary

Under the limited supervision of the Senior Director of Dual Enrollment, this position will coordinate the efforts of the dual enrollment program. The primary responsibility for the position is to coordinate, develop and implement Dual Enrollment Program services and related meetings, communications and enrollment functions, including offsite course enrollment. Organize and coordinate Dual Enrollment Program services and information between the College, the School Board of Broward County (SBBC), high schools, students, parents, administrators, staff, faculty, the public and others. Learn local schools, organizations, resources and programs related to Dual Enrollment.

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Social Science and/or Education is required. Master's Degree is preferred.

Minimum Experience/Training:

  • Four or more years of higher education experience, with three years in student services/enrollment services experience required.

Essential Functions:

  • Daily - 20%:Coordinates Dual Enrollment Program services and information between the College, School Board of Broward County, high schools, students, parents, administrators, staff, faculty, the public and others.Provides consultation concerning the Dual Enrollment Program and related services; respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and provide detailed and technical information concerning related courses, curriculum, standards, requirements, practices, policies and procedures.
  • Daily -15%: Disseminates data to the campuses, high schools, and college personnel as needed, and trains college admissions staff regarding dual enrollment student processing.
  • Semester Basis -15%: Assists the Senior Director, Dual Enrollment in managing offsite course process; follow SACS guidelines, organize Offsite Course Request Process, communicate with campus Associate Deans regarding course section creation and enrollment and coordinate the evaluation process for faculty involved in the Dual Enrollment Program.
  • Monthly - 15%: Organizes, schedules, arranges and attends a variety of meetings and special events concerning Dual Enrollment; prepare and deliver oral presentations concerning dual enrollment program services.
  • Weekly -10%: Supports enrollment activities to facilitate student registration in Dual Enrollment courses, and monitor and coordinate program services in response to student enrollment.
  • Monthly- 10%: Compiles and assembles a variety of program information; coordinate and participate in the preparation and distribution of a variety of correspondence and informational materials related to Dual Enrollment and assigned activities; such as maintenance of the dual enrollment website.
  • Monthly- 10% Assists the Senior Director of Dual Enrollment in monitoring and assessing program activities for institutional effectiveness, development and implementation of program policies and procedures.
  • Other, As Needed- 5%:Perform related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of dual enrollment program objectives, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to interpret, apply and explain applicable laws, codes, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Assist with enrollment activities to facilitate student registration in Dual Enrollment courses.
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to work on a variety of applications (e.g. MS Office, Adobe, Workday (currently in development) and CID).
  • Travel between campuses and local high schools for meetings and other events.
