As an LVN I, you will play a critical role in providing direct patient care, supporting clinical teams, and ensuring a seamless patient experience. Be part of a mission-driven team making a real difference in the fight against cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Prepare patients for appointments by updating records, verifying test results, and coordinating referrals.

  • Perform initial medical screenings, including vital signs, pain assessments, and medical history documentation.

  • Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and medication administration.

  • Monitor patient status, provide health education, and ensure a safe and organized clinical environment.

  • Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality standards.

  • Support overall clinic operations by managing supplies, assisting with triage, and documenting physician orders.

  • This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Your qualifications should include:

  • High school graduate (or GED) required.
  • 0 years of work experience as an LVN in a medical environment.
  • Accredited Licensed Nurse Program.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish and/ or other languages - preferred
  • Current LVN License in the state of California.
  • BLS certification and maintain.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $29.90 - $30.95 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
