Position Summary

This is a tenure-track position. Use knowledge of and work experience with teaching Finance-related undergraduate or graduate courses to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Finance, Financial Technology, and Elon's Core Curriculum. Work with finance faculty to continuously improve the curriculum of the finance major. Conduct academic research in finance. Mentor students in their degree progress, course plan, and academic research. Participate in the services and activities at department, business school, and university levels to support the life and progress of the university including undergraduate research, studying abroad, serving on university and school committees, and advising student organizations. Create a constant stream of scholarly publications and contribute to the life of the university through service.

Minimum Required Education and Experience

Ph.D. in Business Administration or Finance, one (1) semester (approximately 4 months) of experience evidencing demonstrable ability to perform the stated job duties, and evidence of four to six in-review or published papers. Must possess a postsecondary teaching evaluation with 80% or higher rank. New hires subject to a background check.
