As a successful candidate, you will:

Responsible for analyzing end-user domain needs, performing detailed requirements analysis and documenting processes to design and specify system functionalities. Implement vendor-based forms, workflows and dashboards to address those needs. Ensure system components effectively improve business processes by conducting application testing and related data analysis of end-user use. Execution of data pull requests from data sources using SQL. Participate in operations support. Facilitate user-acceptance testing. Conduct end-user training and support as needed.

  • Performs requirements analysis. Provides system component design recommendations and artifacts as required by project manager.
  • Evaluates business processes, anticipating requirements, assessing areas for improvements, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Leads ongoing review of business processes with domain clients and developing optimization strategies
  • Assists in establishing system testing requirements and in conducting overall system testing.
  • Uses queries to extract data from data sources. Create reports for stakeholders to analyze and makes business process decisions.
  • Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members
  • Manages assigned tasks, assesses and communicates timelines and identifies risks as required by project manager.
  • Implement vendor-based forms, workflows and dashboards.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Serves as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
  • Responds to calls from users requiring information on system performance and use, defining enhancements, and resolving problems.
  • Attends meetings with users to discuss current and future system components. Provides follow-up in relation to progress of requests and resolution of problems.
  • Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to maintain certification/licensure, and/or keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
  • Attends meetings as required, and participates on committees as needed
  • Maintains a positive image when dealing with department personnel and other City of Hope employees.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements
  • Three to five years in a programmer/analyst position working with large multi-user systems
  • Structured techniques in system development. Experience in Agile methodologies.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $43.18 - $66.92 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
