The Department of Media at Ball State University is seeking a talented and dedicated educator to join our faculty as an Assistant Lecturer. This position will teach in the area of Media Promotion and Management. Teaching students is at the core of our mission and helping them understand how to tell stories, using the tools of their chosen trade is our goal. We strive to help students garner the skills to work in multiple roles across a variety of industries. Our students are trained in and on industry professional equipment as part of collaborative teams to tell stories of their generation. The Assistant Lecturer will work in newly renovated spaces and will be critical to our department and college mission.

Minimum Experience:

Minimum qualifications include:
A Master's degree in Media, Media Management or related field by date of appointment, or a bachelor's degree with ten years of industry experience.

Preferred Experience:

Preference will be given to candidates who have a Ph.D., M.F.A or Ed.D in Media, Media Management or a related field and have at least one year of teaching experience at the college level.
