Job Summary
The Program Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations, student engagement, and academic support functions to ensure a high-quality experience for students. This role requires a candidate who can manage both administrative and student-facing responsibilities, providing exceptional support to both students and faculty. The Program Manager will play a key role in facilitating program success by enhancing the student experience, optimizing program logistics, and collaborating across departments.
Responsibilities
Student Experience & Engagement
Act as the primary point of contact for students, addressing questions related to program structure, academic policies, and resources.
Develop and implement strategies to improve student satisfaction and engagement, including organizing events, workshops, and networking opportunities tailored to students.
Maintain regular communication with students regarding program updates, deadlines, and support services.
Academic Support & Advising
Collaborate with faculty to coordinate course schedules, ensure alignment with program goals, and facilitate a smooth classroom experience.
Provide academic advising, course registration assistance, and guidance on program requirements, including helping students navigate unique scheduling needs.
Monitor student progress and proactively reach out to students who may need additional support or resources.
Program Operations & Administration
Oversee administrative aspects of the program, including student records management, tracking student enrollment, and reporting on program metrics.
Assist in managing budget and resources, ensuring cost-effective operations and exploring opportunities for program enhancements.
Process administrative paperwork, such as student leave requests, transfer credits, and graduation applications, ensuring timely submission and approval.
Prepare and analyze regular reports on enrollment trends, student performance, retention rates, and graduation outcomes to support data-driven decision-making.
Implement and uphold best practices for continuous improvement, optimizing workflows, documentation, and process efficiencies for the program.
Event Planning & Coordination
Lead the development of an annual events calendar, strategically balancing student engagement opportunities across the academic year, and ensuring maximum participation and value for students.
Provide innovative solutions to continually elevate the quality, relevance, and engagement of program events, incorporating student and industry feedback to stay responsive to evolving needs.
Coordinate with relevant departments and vendors to ensure the smooth execution of events, ensuring they align with program objectives and promote community among students, faculty, and alumni.
Budget and Financial Support
Assist with developing a comprehensive annual budget for program events, ensuring all planned events operate within financial parameters while meeting high standards for quality.
Lead post-event evaluations, leveraging data on attendance, participant satisfaction, and budget adherence to measure impact and refine future planning.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related area plus three years of experience in budget, grant and program management or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required. Develops and implements program ideas into successful academic and research programs; demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required.
