Your Key Responsibilities:


Program Management: Oversee the daily operations of the ProCard/Travel Card Programs.


Account Maintenance: Manage card accounts, ensuring they adhere to university policies.


Training & Support: Provide essential training and support to cardholders and approving officials.


Fraud Prevention: Analyze transactions to identify cost-saving opportunities and potential fraud.


Auditing & Improvement: Conduct regular audits and recommend process enhancements.


Relationship Building: Maintain professional relationships with vendors, departments, and auditors.

Minimum Qualifications:

What We're Looking For:


Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in business/accounting or related field or an equivalent combination of procurement training and experience is preferred.


Experience: Two years of business experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience (i.e. procurement or card related experience).

• Experience demonstrating ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of management/staff/public/

Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office Suite. Knowledge of Banner Finance is a plus.


Certification: Certified Procurement Card Professional (CPCP) certification is preferred.

Position Details:

This is a full-time, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and https://www.alaska.edu/hr/benefits/support/prospectiveemployees.php. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage.
