Job Description

Summary

The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking a Program Management Coordinator for our Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accredited residency training program. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Program Directors in recruitment, didactic scheduling and coordination, trainee evaluations, on-boarding, orientation and event planning. The Coordinator, Program Management will work closely with a team of faculty leadership and peer coordinators to support the Ob/Gyn education mission.

Job Duties

  • Assists the senior coordinator with the residency program.
  • Assists with trainee recruitment including scheduling interviews.
  • Assists with trainee onboarding and orientation.
  • Assists with creation of and maintain a thorough working knowledge of all resident schedules.
  • Assists with trainee parking assignments.
  • Schedules and coordinates didactic lectures.
  • Administers, collects, and collates evaluations.
  • Tracks documentation of training & scholarly activities.
  • Maintains files on department residents.
  • Tracks trainee case logs.
  • Initiates & executes program letters of agreement (PLA's) for elective rotations.
  • Proctors exams.
  • Assists with the function and accreditation of other departmental Graduate Medical Education (GME) related programs including ObGyn Fellowships.
  • Assists & monitors travel, expense reimbursements.
  • Manages event planning.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
