Job Overview
The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty Assistant Professor of Biology position, beginning August 15, 2025.
Essential Functions
Teach an average of 12 contact hours per semester of undergraduate lecture and/or laboratory classes in the Fall and Spring Semesters; primary content area for this position is human anatomy and physiology and/or other related biology courses as needed by the department.
Service duties such as participating in the governance and committee service to the Department, College, and University.
Participating in ongoing professional activities in two subcategories: (a) professional development and (b) research, scholarship, and/or creative activity. These activities may be in the discipline of biology and/or the scholarship of teaching and learning.
Minimum Requirements
By May 31, 2025, applicants must have both of the following:
• PhD in biology or a related field
• One (1) academic year of college-level teaching experience in biology or a related field
