Position Description:

The Department Coordinator for Corporate Partnerships Benefits will be charged with increasing the number corporate partners as well as assisting with increasing the number of dependents and adult learners pursuing higher education through these corporate partnerships. This position will be a part of a dynamic team of undergraduate admission and financial aid staff to serve and grow enrollment. The Department Coordinator will keep ongoing contact with the University’s corporate partners quarterly in collaboration with the Director of Industry Partnerships and the Office of Admissions. The Department Coordinator will work with U of L corporate partners and other employers into market UofL's adult learner offerings as well as offer opportunities for their dependents. The Department Coordinator will be tasked with coordinating many efforts the university already has in place to recruit and support adult students and will seek efficiencies and new opportunities. The Department Coordinator will also develop corporate partner recruitment material, manage contracts, and coordinate financial aid components. This position will require the ability to meet with external collaborators so may involve local and regional travel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in development and implementation of strategies to recruit and assist adult students and dependents of employees of corporate partners to be successful in collaboration with related units, including marketing and development of tuition remission programs.

  • Establish partnerships with employers in the region to identify needed degrees and market UofL offerings for adult learners and dependent programs. Encourage employers to provide financial aid to their employees to pursue college degrees.

  • Assist with regular visits to corporate partners to promote enrollment at UofL.

  • Utilize data to ensure adult learner initiatives are meeting established metrics. Produce weekly and monthly reports and presentations for stakeholders.

  • Work with the team in Office of Admissions to create best practices in recruiting corporate partners and delivering assets to partners.

  • Work with the Office of Student Financial Aid to assure that payments for students from the employer are being paid and invoices are sent in a timely manner and with the correct information.

  • Assist in putting the partner contracts together for Director to review.

  • Attend regular meetings with admissions and financial aid and provide reports.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Higher education and business development experience

  • Experience in Salesforce (or similar CRM)

  • Ability to work outside standard office hours as needed

  • Transportation to corporate partners facilities

Target Compensation Maximum:

$35.33

Target Compensation Minimum:

$23.54

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
