Summary

The Department of Otolaryngology's Division of Research is seeking a candidate to perform the routine elements of research work that requires the use of skills, technical, and academic knowledge to follow established procedures and record results.

Job Duties

  • Prepares and conducts laboratory research experiments.
  • Collects, compiles, and analyzes data.
  • Conducts literature searches and summarizes information in an appropriate format for a particular study.
  • Documents results of experiments.
  • Selects, evaluates, and applies techniques used in routine research.
  • Orders laboratory supplies and equipment.
  • Cooperates willingly and works towards solutions which generally benefit all involved parties.
  • Works together withothers to accomplish research lab objectives; promotes collaboration and partnerships.
  • Shares ideas, techniques and expertise, and respects those of others; remains flexible to differing viewpoints.
  • Builds strong relationships, inspires teamwork, and builds confidence of research team members.
  • Recognizes needs of team members, and provides support when possible to achieve research goals.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
  • No experience required.
