Summary
The Department of Otolaryngology's Division of Research is seeking a candidate to perform the routine elements of research work that requires the use of skills, technical, and academic knowledge to follow established procedures and record results.
Job Duties
- Prepares and conducts laboratory research experiments.
- Collects, compiles, and analyzes data.
- Conducts literature searches and summarizes information in an appropriate format for a particular study.
- Documents results of experiments.
- Selects, evaluates, and applies techniques used in routine research.
- Orders laboratory supplies and equipment.
- Cooperates willingly and works towards solutions which generally benefit all involved parties.
- Works together withothers to accomplish research lab objectives; promotes collaboration and partnerships.
- Shares ideas, techniques and expertise, and respects those of others; remains flexible to differing viewpoints.
- Builds strong relationships, inspires teamwork, and builds confidence of research team members.
- Recognizes needs of team members, and provides support when possible to achieve research goals.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
- No experience required.
