Major responsibilities include: teach undergraduate and/or graduate level architecture design studios or support courses in one or more of the following areas: architectural programming; research methods; architectural building technology (methods and materials of architectural construction); environmental systems (passive and active systems); structures; building systems integration; site design; history and theory of urban design.

Ball State University's Estopinal College of Architecture invites applicants for adjunct assignments beginning January 2025. 

Job Function:

Major responsibilities include: teach undergraduate and/or graduate level architecture design studios or support courses in one or more of the following areas: architectural programming; research methods; architectural building technology (methods and materials of architectural construction); environmental systems (passive and active systems); structures; building systems integration; site design; history and theory of urban design.

Minimum Experience:

Master’s degree in architecture or related field from an accredited institution by date of appointment.

Preferred Experience:

Professional degree in architecture (Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture); demonstrated ability to teach design studio and related courses in a professional degree program; professional license in architecture or a PhD; professional practice experience; evidence of outstanding design skills and excellence in architectural design work; evidence of contributions to the profession; evidence of the potential for teaching excellence; evidence of the potential for quality scholarship
